National Black Members Conference Update

Just to advise you that the dates
and venue for the next Black Members Conference
are now confirmed as
19 – 21 January 2007 in Liverpool
Below is the timetable for conference
Just to remind you that the timetable
for motions to the Black Members Conference is:
- Deadline for the submission of motions
12.00 noon Monday, 25 September
- Deadline for the submission of amendments
to standing orders12.00 noon Monday, 25 September
- Deadline for amendments to motions12.00 noon
Friday, 10 November
- Deadline for delegate registration (crèche
etc): 17 November 2006 (this date is still subject
to confirmation)
- Publication of Final Agenda: 04 December 2006
- Deadline for responses on proposed composites:
08 December 2006
- Deadline for Emergency Motions: (9am) 03 January
2007
- National Black Members Conference, Liverpool:
19 – 21 January 2007
Please also note that Branches and
Regions must register their delegates by Friday
17 November, however, I would recommend that ask
your branches to register delegates, and book delegates
accommodation early to avoid any hiccups. Please
note due to a football match being held in Liverpool
over the same weekend, it might be difficult to
book an accommodation on last minute. com basis.
Also avoid any booking at Adelphi Hotel – this place
is not favoured by NBMC. I shall keep you posted.
