Look out for new training courses
A new package of UNISON Scotland Learning and Organising
courses was about to be published as we went to print.
“Dates of courses will be emailed to branches within the
next couple of weeks and then they will receive copies of
a glossy programme that can be used by branches at meetings
and when recruiting etc”, said Lucanne Mackay, Branch Development
Officer.
“We have added a few new courses this year including five
one-day Employment Law courses and two Introduction to Equal
Pay courses in addition to the usual courses on the programme.”
The ‘usual’ courses include Stewards Training, Health & Safety,
Grievance and Disciplinaries, Magazine Editors/Website Design,
Media Training, Basic Branch Officer courses and many others.

where you can get more details and an application form.
