Glasgow Council condemned and urged to get back to CosLA

UNISON has condemned Glasgow City Council's letter to all its nurdery nurses outlining an offer the Council knew that nursery nurses had rejected weeks before.

The offer hardly differed from the rejected CoSLA working party report and in any case Glasgow nursery nurses had already made clear to the Council that they are demanding a Scottish settlement.

"Rather than playing silly games, the council would be better going back to CoSLA to reopen talks at a Scottish level", said Joe DiPaola, UNISON's oragniser for local government.

The Scotland wide strike action for a national deal continues - click here for further details.
