UNISON Scottish Labour Link chair Gordon MacKay called on the government to end the fat cat bonus culture and rewards for failure; and to act to ensure fair and decent pensions for all workers in retirement.
The parking contractors that run the car parking at Edinburgh’s Royal Infirmary, are set to make around an extra £170,000 profit because of government actions to tackle the credit crunch, UNISON delegate Morag Houston told the Scottish Labour Party Conference in Dundee.
