INDIVIDUAL LEARNING ACCOUNT ROADSHOWS
Individual Learning Accounts are to be re-launched
in October 2004. Lifelong Learning Adviser/Union learning
Reps are invited to participate in the roadshows, hosted
by ILA Scotland, listed below. This will give them all the
information they will require to promote these accounts
to members.
The Individual Learning Account may be used
to enable members to access and pay for learning.
There will also be direct mailing to eligible
UNISON members, highlighting the benefit of ILA’s and advising
them to contact LLA/ULR in their workplace for further help
and information.
The opportunity to promote learning through
ILA’s will be of enormous benefit to our members and will
be a positive initiative for LLA/ULR’s.
